to fight pen and ink, here's a mix of some late cuts from 2024 as well some of the first releases of 2025 i've been stoked on.(which undoubtedly most were probably made in 2024). probably should have been doing this (show the movie instead of describing a picture) considering this is the year 2025 where anything and nothing is possible but oh well, time is eternal as we wring out drops. cheers to the era of our lord where we dine off the stove top in a studded belt (again).
i feel like a zoo keeper...this is the 3 tusked boar...the toxotidae, archer of sri lanka... my hopes are not to remove specimen for preservation or the express purpose: to soley be gawked at, or undervalue one's opinion/way of life "punker points from downtooooown"; but to strive for "common ground" as much as i detest the word (and the sentiment) though "community"; around shared interest/humanity, narrow the generational spike pits between our isolated canyons. no one to blame but myself, and the scapegoat neighbors reving leaf blowers when it's just above 40 farenheit and perfectly aligned with the time i managed to squeeze out to finish these demos. where overdubs stack like "ROOOOOOOOOOOOOO". ahead of next issue here's my result of the hellscape rorschach test: how do we get more new bands? "save the scene", "save the industry"? i don't know, i just want to make good songs and have fun with my friends; monkey see monkey do. and while i'm "busy working" on "my art" i consider the same context of autonomy (industry) for etniko bandido combating the philipine regime of waring families; who are "too busy" spilling blood carving the land out from under the feet of its people into a trench, from an illusion of home to a bleak hole of mineral and capital. where "art" for the brave collective of creatives is bread wine and spirit. try to stay warm, it's too late for me; and my sanity! hoho
